Privacy policy
This policy explains which personal data Daily Safari Tours collects when you use this website, book a tour or get in touch, what we use it for and which rights you have. The controller responsible for your data is Daily Safari Tours; how to reach us is shown on our contact page.
Data we collect
- Bookings: your first and last name, phone number, e-mail address, hotel (and room number, if you give it), the date of the tour, how many people are travelling and any message you add.
- Reviews: the name, e-mail address, optional country, rating and comment you submit. Your e-mail address is never made public; once a review is approved, the tour page shows its comment, rating, name and country.
- Messages: whatever you write to us through the contact form or on WhatsApp, together with your contact details.
- Technical data: details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you open, which we need to run the website and keep it secure.
- Visit statistics: only if this feature is switched on and you agree in the cookie banner, Google Analytics records how the site is used, for example which pages are viewed and on what type of device.
Why we use your data
We use your data to create and manage your booking, send you the confirmation, the e-ticket and practical information, carry out the tour together with our partners, reply to your enquiries and comply with the law. Legally, we rely on the need to perform our contract with you, on obligations we must fulfil by law and on our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, KVKK, Article 5). Visit statistics are based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who receives your data
We only pass on what is needed to carry out your tour or to run this website: for example to the partner company operating the tour, the drivers and guides, our e-mail delivery service and our hosting provider. Public authorities receive data only where the law requires it. We never sell your data or give it to third parties for their own marketing.
Storage period
We store booking data only for the period that Turkish accounting and tax rules require. Afterwards it is erased or made anonymous.
Your rights
The KVKK (Article 11) entitles you to find out whether we process your data and to receive information about it, to have wrong data corrected, to request deletion, to object to processing and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. If the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or your national data protection rules also apply to you, you have the rights they grant as well, for example to receive a copy of your data or to complain to a supervisory authority.
